Situated in the Charmadi Ghats area of the western ghats, this offbeat trail to Bandaje waterfalls is one of the must-do treks when in Bangalore. The journey takes you through magnificent meadows, river streams, and lush green forests, all of which are a delight to behold. Embark on this exciting trek and see the beauty for yourself!

Pick up points

Following are the pick-up points & timings in Bangalore on Friday Night:

  • Yeshwantpur Hallimane Hotel Near Yeshwantpur Metro station
  • Goraguntepalya (Next to people’s tree hospital)

Drop points are same as the pickup points

Once you’ve booked your tickets, we will reach out to you and provide you with more information like exact pick-up times, exact location, coach details and more on WhatsApp.

Any changes in Pick Up locations will be notified to the participants 10-12 hrs before the start of the trip.

  • Starting time: Friday night at 9 PM approx
  • Ending time: Sunday late night around 11.00 PM approx
  • Stay: At our Homestay or tents or cottages on sharing basis with neat, sanitized & clean basic facilities separate for boys and girls.
  • Food: 2 Breakfasts, 1 Lunch, 1 Dinner (All Veg included)
  • Trek difficulty: Moderate-Challenging
  • Duration of the Trip: 2 Days/1 Night


    • Traveler:10-15 pax + 1 Trek Leader
    • Minibus: 25-30 pax + 1 Trek Leader

    • Face mask and sanitizer
    • Strong backpack for trekking
    • Water bottles are at least 1-2 liters
    • Extra set of clothes (if necessary)
    • A Poly Bag to carry your wet clothes back to Bangalore
    • Sunscreen and sunglasses (optional)
    • Cap/hat
    • Toiletries: – comb, towel, soap, tissue paper, Toothbrush and other essentials etc. (if necessary)
    • Raincoat or a poncho
    • Personal medication if any
    • A torch with new batteries (can be managed by mobile light)
    • One plastic box if you want to carry energy boosters like Chocolate bars, flavored milk, Juice packs, Glucon-D, etc. should keep waste rappers with self, till you reach back to homestay or bangalore, it is necessary to maintain forest cleanliness as a traveler
    • Sweaters/Jacket to bear the cold weather
    • Good trekking shoes

Day 1 :

• Reach Homestay, relax for a while have your breakfast and get freshened up for the trek.
• Start the trek from Sunkasale and traverse through the lush green mountains.
• Reach the Ballarayana Durga Fort and trek towards Bandaje falls.
• Enjoy your packed lunch and spend some time at the waterfalls.
• Start your descent and trek back to the homestay.
• Reach back to homestay and get freshened up.
• Enjoy a warm campfire Dinner & overnight Stay.

Day 2 :

• Wake up in the morning, get freshen up and enjoy your breakfast Breakfast.
• Visit Kodige Falls and enjoy the mesmerizing views.
• Start back to Bangalore.
• Visit Belur Temple & Have self-sponsored lunch on the way.
• Reach back to Bangalore.
